About CE

The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine Office of Continuing Education is dedicated to providing the highest quality educational excellence in animal care and technology to the animal health community. The office has been offering conventional continuing education courses since its first conference for veterinarians in 1926. Today, the office conducts over 35 conferences annually for veterinarians, veterinary technicians, breeders and owners, ranging in a wide variety of topics. In addition to providing conferences, the office launched its online continuing education program in late 2008. The office is under the direction of the College's Associate Dean for Administration and Curriculum, Dr. Steve DiBartola, and is led by the Continuing Education Coordinator, Genevieve Thompson. The department has one full time staff member who is responsible for overall program coordination and day to day operation.

Accreditation

All online courses are approved for credit on an hour per hour basis by the Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE). All conferences are approved by either RACE or the Ohio Veterinary Medical Licensing Board on an hour per hour basis; please check the course description page for details regarding the type of accreditation the course you plan to attend holds.
